White Water Rafting the Sarapiqui River, Costa Rica

Our white water rafting team (Cristina, Sadie, Mireya, and Angel) rafted 14 kilometers of the Sarapiqui River, Costa Rica. This reach of the river is rated Class III and IV. The ride was fun, exhilarating, and challenging.

Part I of I:


Pamporovo Ski Resort, Pamporovo, Bulgaria

Pamporovo Ski Resort is located in the most southern part of lovely Rodopi Mountains, just 15 kilometers away from the town of Smolyan. Pamporovo claims to be the sunniest mountain resort in Europe (270 sunny days per year on average), though with plenty of snow through the whole ski season. It is located at an altitude of 1650 meters above sea level at the foot of Snejanka peak (1926 meters). Pamporovo ski runs come in all difficulty levels, which make it an excellent family ski resort. Currently, there are available to the skiers, 29 kms of runs for alpine disciplines, 30 kms of tracks for long run, and ski cabinets. Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, Cayos Cochinos, Honduras

Our snorkeling team explored the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef at the northern coast of Cayo Mayor, Cayos Cochinos, Honduras. The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System is the second largest in the world extending from Isla Contoy, Mexico, to Bay Islands, Honduras, for a stretch of over 1,000 kilometers in the Atlantic Ocean. Cayos Cochinos is a natural marine reserve that lies along this barrier reef.
